One of the master craftsmen of the Art Nouveau period, Lluis Masriera was an expert in the difficult enameling technique called plique a jour, which produces luminous jewelry that appears like stained glass. Continuing Lluis’ legacy today, Masriera creates beautiful rings, pins, bracelets and earrings in plique a jour based on typical Art Nouveau themes such as flowers, birds and women. Masriera also designs Art Deco-style jewelry, with geometric shapes from that period accented with enamel, diamonds and luscious color stones.
