The legendary Russian craftsman's work is now available exclusively at Dodson's. This famous French family created jeweled eggs for the Russian royalty beginning in 1885. Dodson's offers many of their original designs, which are reproduced using the same process of rich enameling called guilloche. Many are produced to life size and others are made on a much smaller scale. Today they are all made in France. In addition to the eggs, Dodson's features Faberge crystal gifts. These too were once made for royalty all over the world. Most of the handblown and cut crystal is now made in Russia. The crystal is essentially encased in color as it is blown twice: once with clear crystal and a second time with the designated color.
